  The performance when handling of wet and muddy conditions is great. I tested them in the snow along with some other cars in January and they worked brilliantly I even managed to pull a Sainsbury's van out of a field on Valentine's day and now the real challenge will be in the Alps this March. I have owned these tyres previously and would purchase again. Got 40,000 miles from the last set on the front of a Land Cruiser.

  I put these on my Hilux about six months ago and they have been spot on. The chunky blocks bite well on mud and wet grass when I am up the farm track, and they still feel steady on the motorway once you get used to the extra bit of noise. They have taken plenty of stone and gravel without any chips or cuts so far, and the wear looks very even across the tread. They are not cheap but for the mix of road and rough ground I do, they are worth it.

  A well-designed tyre and handles more than 35,000 miles a year and a set can achieve 100,000 miles with an L200 that is always in 4WD. Great for moving puddles, but less impressive for gripping bends while overall it is comfortable and not for racing.
